We’ve got eight performances tonight through Sunday evening between six different shows and if there was ever a week to buy tickets and see our shows, this is that week.
Last month, due to some rental and show cancellations by some of our co-producers, we were without anticipated revenue and fell behind on the rent for Odd Duck Studio. We have until Monday, August 15 to raise $2075.69 to be caught up. We started a fundraising campaign on Indie GoGo to help raise the needed revenue. So if you are able too, please contribute to the cause here:

Now onto our eclectic array of programming this week:
First up tonight through Saturday at 8pm is Zelda.
Denise Paulette, Seattle actress, is performing her one woman show, ZELDA by William Luce at Odd Duck Studio beginning Saturdays July 30 & August 6 with an extended run Thurs., Fri. & Sat. nights beginning August 11th-August 27th.
ZELDA is the compelling story of Zelda Fitzgerald. As the wife of F. Scott, she found herself his muse for what Scott wrote about and lived: The Jazz Age. In and out of sanitariums for 17 years, Zelda struggled not only with her mental illness but also the common human threads of unrequited love, growing old, lost dreams and ultimately her own mortality.
As a writer, painter and ballet dancer, ZELDA is her story of passion, wit, determination and living in one’s art no matter the situation.
Performances begin at 8 pm; admission is $15.00/Adults, $12.50 Students/Seniors. Advance tickets at206-679-3271 and at

Friday at 10:30pm is Carskee w/ Drop The Root Beer And Run!
The short version….Carskee is a long form two-person improv team comprised of Jennifer Cargill & Erin Plischke. Their format is heavily influenced by their many years of training in Chicago’s improv scene and their years of performing in Austin’s eclectic improv scene. Carskee takes one suggestion and creates distinct characters that explore their relationship to each other and to the suggestion. They interweave from scene to scene creating new characters, stories and an abundance of laughter.
Drop the Root Beer and Run, Seattle’s thirstiest and stickiest comedy troupe, was founded in the winter of 2011 by Generation Friends alumni Corbin Smith and Matt Hatfield in grand ol’ Olympia, Washington. Specializing mostly in long form improvisation, DTRBAR has since relocated to Seattle and expanded to doing the occasional sketch comedy.

Mash-ups are finally back! (Sorry they went away for so long.)
The tenth mash-up will again be at Odd Duck Studio, coordinated by Interrobang?!. We ask that improvisers participating have either advanced improv class experience (i.e., Wing-It’s 301-level classes, UP’s 400-level classes) or improv performance experience.
We’ll do our best to mix people up to perform with as many people from outside their usual groups as possible. Groups for the night will be announced as the night progresses, and each mash-up will go approximately 15 minutes.
Thus far, everyone who’s attended has been able to mash up at least twice.
You know there are a ton of amazing improvisers in town you’ve wanted to work with. Now’s your chance!
Suggested ticket price (which we’ll pass on directly to Odd Duck) is $5.00. Cheap! Fun! Awesome!
